FAQs
-
Is this course suitable for IELTS Academic or IELTS General Training?
This course is ONLY suitable for IELTS Academic. A course for IELTS General Writing Task 1 is coming soon. If you are interested for IELTS General, contact us to get informed when the course is available.
-
How long does it take to complete the course?
The lectures take only 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete. The total duration of watching the lectures completing the assignments and answering the Task 1 questions varies from person to person. To get the maximum benefit from this course, I recommend answering each Task 1 within 20 minutes, revisiting the material and visiting the extra resources.
-
How long will I have access to the course?
You have access to the videos and quizzes for a year but we can extend this for as long as you need it.This means you can study in your own time and listen to the videos over & over again until you feel confident enough to take the test.
-
Can you guarantee a 7 or higher IELTS band score?
The course will help you get a higher band score if you work hard to master the techniques taught. However, there is no guarantee of how high your score will be. This is because your IELTS band score depends on your English level as well as the thoroughness of your test preparation. If you have a low level of English, then taking this course alone will not be sufficient to achieve a high band score. In that case, I recommend taking an extended English course to improve your English level alongside your IELTS preparation.
-
Do I need to be familiar with the IELTS test?
No, you don't need to be familiar with the format of the IELTS test. This is something that is explained in the course. By the end of the course, you'll learn what to expect in the test.
-
Will I improve my English skills with this course?
This is a strategy and techniques course to help you pass the IELTS test successfully. There is advice on grammar, vocabulary and overall English language skills, but the focus in not on general English language learning.
-
Will you correct my summaries?
To maintain an affordable price, the course does not include a writing correction service. However, in the course book, you will find model answers to which you can compare your essays.
If you still want to get your essays corrected, you can get one of our packages from our website.
