• Those who wish to take the IELTS Academic test.
• Those who are preparing to take the IELTS test.
• Those who are retaking the IELTS test and want to achieve an IELTS band score 7 or higher.
Please note that students of all level of English can understand the content of this course, but to achieve a higher IELTS band score you need to be in intermediate level or above.
Although this is a course for the Academic Test, it can still help you prepare for the IELTS General Test. Please note that the Writing Task 1 module is only relevant to the Academic Test. An IELTS General course will be available soon, but if you enrol in this course and you are taking the IELTS General test, you can contact us to provide to you material for IELTS General Writing Task 1.
The lectures take only 6 hours to complete. The total duration to complete the quizzes, assignments and practice tests varies from person to person. To get the maximum benefit from this course, I recommend revisiting the material and visiting the extra resources.
You have access to the videos and quizzes for a year but we can extend this for as long as you need it. Access to the course book which includes all the course material and the extra practice is for a lifetime. This means you can study in your own time and listen to the videos over & over again until you feel confident enough to take the test.
There is no guarantee of how high your score will be. This is because your IELTS band score depends on your English level as well as the thoroughness of your test preparation. If you have a low level of English, then taking this course alone will not be sufficient to achieve a high band score. In that case, I recommend taking an extended English course to improve your English level alongside your IELTS preparation.
No, you don't need to be familiar with the format of the IELTS test. This is something that is explained in the course. By the end of the course, you'll learn what to expect in the test.
This is a strategy and techniques course to help you pass the IELTS test successfully. There is advice on grammar, vocabulary and overall English language skills, but the focus in not on general English language learning.
The correct answers are provided with the practice material in the course book. Regarding your essays, the course does not include a writing correction service. However, in the course book, you will find model answers to which you can compare your essays.
If you still want to get your essays corrected, buy one of our packages from our website.
